Our CPR certification classes taught at your location is open to everyone, regardless of experience level. We teach you the skills and knowledge needed to respond to any cardiac emergency. Class includes Adult, Child & Infant training.
The intervention of adding an AED to a resuscitation attempt can greatly impact the chance of survival in the event of a cardiac arrest situation. Our EXPERT instructors will train the responding staff to be confident and competent to use an AED.
This module goes over "Choking" both the partial obstruction and the complete obstructed airway.
Hands on practice for adult, child & Infant. Techniques to relieve, support and escalate care in an emergency.
This portion of the training includes: Recognition, Scene Safety, Calling for help and rendering care.
Topics include but are not limited to: Asthma/breathing issues. Anaphylaxis, Responding to a cardiac emergency & Aspirin assistance, Stroke recognition and F.A.S.T., Diabetic issues for both low and high glucose issues, Heat and Cold environmental issues, Seizures care and treatment, Hemorrhage (bleeding) control assistance and techniques, Sprains-Strains and Dislocations of bones and joints, burns, electrical shocks and Poisoning issues.
To Insure that a ill or injured person is receiving the highest highest level of onsite emergency First Aid we offer many options beyond your 1 size fits all standard First Aid class. WEMRT takes the training a step further by offering multiple hands on applications to facilitate onsite emergency First Aid. Some of the topics that are covered but not limited to: LIFE THREATENING BLEEDING CONTROL AND TOURNIQUET APPLICATION, ASTHMA ATTACK WITH ASSISTANCE OF (mdI) BREATHING DEVICE / INHALER, EPI-PEN ASSISTANCE AND APPLICATION, SPLINTING APPLICATIOIN FOR STRAINS-SPRAINS & DISLOCATIONS. PLUS.. Narcan / Naloxone administration in the event of suspected Opioid overdose. WE CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY PROGRAM YOU FIT YOUR AGENCIES EXACT NEEDS.
This program add on is designed to shed light on the possibility of dealing with or possible contact with a Blood Borne Pathogens, such as; Hepatitis, HIV and other blood borne illnesses. In this program we outline the types of transmission, the potential for acquiring a blood borne illness and the mitigation of how to respond , clean, dispose of the material all the while protecting the worker.
